Florian Grand, born on 25.12.1998, discovered his great fascination for playing the piano at the age of eight. He began his career at the Schaffhausen Music School. The principal there, Esther Herrmann, became aware of his talent and opened the door to the support program of the Winterthur Conservatory. Florian Grand has been taught by Professor Tobias Schabenberger at the Music Academy in Basel, where he prepared for his music studies in the PreCollege. In addition to his intensive involvement with the piano, the young musician has also completed his secondary education, which he finished with the Matura. He owes the fact that he has been able to combine music and school so well to the principle of the art and sports class, which gave him more room for musical development at the Pädagogische Maturitätsschule Kreuzlingen and at the Gymnasium Bäumlihof in Basel. Florian has won first prizes as a soloist (2015 and 2017) and as a chamber musician (2016) in the finals of the Swiss Youth Music Competition.

Florian studied at Boston Conservatory at Berklee where he received a Bacherlor of Music in Piano Performance in 2022.
