Prior to joining Bergos on January 3rd, a time of the year that most of us now learned to connotate with extensive Covid-restrictions and home office-regulations, I was profoundly surprised by the warm welcome I received, expecting empty chairs and Skype meetings. Upon arrival at the reception, I received a welcoming introduction to the office premises by Bergos`s figureheads, Cristina & Konstanze, who were awaiting me with a welcoming package and Sprüngli chocolate, and by my dear colleague Max Mahn, who introduced me to the Active Advisory space and afterwards invited me to lunch alongside my new colleagues, Thomas and Caesar.
In the days following my start at Bergos, I found it seamless to integrate into the new working environment, as colleagues within and outside the Active Advisory department made great efforts to get in contact with me, whether spontaneously in person or via phone call. Mr Metzger took me out to lunch at a great Italian establishment in Seefeld, and Dr. Raskin made time to welcome me in person and introduce me to Bergos`s philosophy. Overall, I was greatly impressed with the dedication and kindness I encountered within the whole company. Furthermore, I found the introduction seminars to the different departments extremely helpful in finding orientation within the company and talk to colleagues I had prior only been in contact with via messenger and email. Since Covid-restrictions are beginning to ease up, I am looking forward to meet everybody in person in the near future.
